CISVA Initiative
Dr. Jennifer Katz’s online professional development webinar series
We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity to bring Dr. Jennifer Katz’s online professional development webinar series to all Catholic schools in the province at a significantly reduced cost. The IEC has strongly advocated for CISBC to collaborate in purchasing this series as a district-wide resource, and after discussions with Dr. Katz, she has agreed to offer the series to CISBC as a whole. This allows us to share the cost across all our schools, making it an affordable investment in professional learning.

The total cost of the series is $25,000, but if all schools participate, the cost per school will be $350. This resource can be used for years to support inclusive education, universal classroom instruction, onboarding new teachers, leadership development, and team capacity building.

To move forward, we need to confirm interest from schools. CISBC will arrange payment to Dr. Katz, and CISVA schools will be billed through our office. Please take a moment to indicate whether your school is interested in participating by completing this short survey:
